Hook Up Escapist

She came into his life on a hot summer’s night

Some music and a good fuck

And they were together just for luck

But a while after they realised it was not on

She wanted out and without a doubt it was not gonna work out

So with a heavy heart he agreed

His soul broken and ready to bleed

He vowed hereafter there would be no happily ever after

So he wandered from one cunt to the next

3 to 6 months at its best

Then to another would he just meander

His soul lost his heart torn asunder

Until she came, crossed his path

This woman he thought was just another blast

To her he poured out his soul more than his seed

And on her empathetic heart would his soul regularly bleed

Until she wanted more to make him realise she was part of his core

But his wounded heart fled in fright

As he continued to deny that which was might

And so with angst and much heartache

She left him alone sick to the bone

And he in anger watched her leave

Blaming her for some heartless deed

Not realising a part of his soul

Had left with her, leaving a gaping black hole
